Sheer poetry

You've found my site,
so cool and funky,
hosted my me,
a theological monkey.
"The sky's the limit"
is what they'll say,
'cos every monkey's
gotta have his day.
*Oh yeah!

*This is the blog that
broke the mold
all the rest are
scabby and old.
*Oh right!

Blue sky thinking,
that's the way to go.
Just take a glance
at my manifesto.

Don't disagree,
it makes me grumpy.
I'm always right,
an infallible monkey.
D'you hear?
So take a look round,
read and weep.
The blogging monkey,
he 'aint no geek.
*Let's freak!

Pure dead brilliant, poetic genius...I've noticed that if a post'er agrees with or flatters you they may get moved to the 'sound as a bell' category...

David, perhaps you can take some time to explain to us why Planet of the Apes is not on your favorite movies list. Won't monkeys eventually rule for a thousand years?

I've now given you a plug on my blog, so that you get more traffic. Of course, you may not find the plug all that flattering, but it serves you right for the "stroppy-bearded" comment. :-)

Very much missing the theological monkey. Do you need directions back from Leicester??

My mate the theological monkey has got bloggers block at the moment. Writing the poem has left him feeling emotionally exhausted and vulnerable. I suppose that's the price you have to pay for great art. But he will be back when he has something very grand and important to say.
